Friday November 7th at 7:30pm PST Hell's Kitchen will be having a FUN NIGHT.  We will feature clan maps by {HK}Reaper, {HK}Kane, {HK}Tstr and {HK}Treckie.  They will 20 minutes long and we will have some fun configs that should make game play more interesting.  Make sure you show up!!

FUN NIGHT Friday August 8th.  We will be playing some of {HK}3M's maps.  They include

dod_skytemple_b4

You can find these maps on our download page under maps/August FUN NIGHT mappack.  FUN NIGHT includes some alteration to game play.  We might limit weapons and/or have low friction or we might use funmode where players glow and have low grav.  So come join the fun.

WELCOME TO SUMMER!
Tonight we will have a FUN NIGHT. We try to hold these events once a month. It starts at 7:30pm PST and we will feature {HK}Forgotten_00's maps. We will be playing dod_orange_2, dod_palomino_b1, dod_lockout_final, dod_revolt_b2, dod_endurance_b1, dod_orange_tunnels2, dod_battlehill_b1, dod_offensive_b4, dod_viceCTF, dod_twin_towers_b2, and dod_second_coming. All these maps are on our download page under clan maps. In addition, you will notice that {HK}Forgotten_00 developed a couple of new maps especially for tonights FUN NIGHT. So we will be playing some maps that have not been played before. Our next FUN NIGHT will feature {HK}3M's maps. Throughout this summer will be featuring our clan members maps on our FUN NIGHTS.

In other news; we have recently recruited a new Junior member, {HK~JR}Silenthawk319. Welcome Silenthawk. And {HKReg}Fantazim has become the newest regular recruit. Most recently {HK}Talraith and {HK}bearkiller have become a full fledged members of Hell's Kitchen. Congratulations to all of you.

If you are interested in how Hell's Kitchen became a clan, go to our forums and under "General Chit Chat" you will find a thread that details the development of the clan. I want to thank {HK}Kane for founding this clan and all the members and regular players for continued participation. We could not stay open without you guys.

On another note, it is summer time! YEAH. I have 2 1/2 months off from school and am I GLAD. So it is a Dod summer! Hope to see you all on the server daily. Be there or be there...

Well, it's April. We have taken on a few new recruits in the last month or so. They are {HK})2azor |(ing, {HK}Talraith, {HK}bearkiller1, {HK}Foe Hammer, {HK}Sky. Welcome to all.

You will notice that we have a new map section on our download page called clan maps. We have several map makers who are keeping busy building DoD maps. Once Call of Duty 4 comes out with the tools for map makers, I am sure our guys will be even busier. Great job guys and great maps.

The UCL has been very quiet.

You will also notice in our forums that we have sections for discussions on COD4, DoD and World of Warcraft (WOW). Please visit our forums for any discussions, ideas or thoughts you may want to share.

Spring is here (although some of us are still getting snow). The birds are in the air, grass is getting green and summer is just around the corner. I am looking forward to barbeques and sunshine. (maybe a beer or two). How about you? Enjoy life you only get one chance!!

And thank-you to our regular players who populate our servers. We wouldn't be here without you.

January is over and Hell's Kitchen is revamping our image. We have now become a multi-gaming community. We play COD4, DoD:Classic, WOW, BF and various other games. I am looking forward to a redesign of our web page in the near future.

We have our first inductee from our Call of Duty 4 division.  Welcome to {HKReg}Haru.

We have just increased or vent server to a 50-man server and are considering opening it up to the public, but that news at a later date.

We continue to be involved with the UCL and are matching in DoD:C. Pre-season is over and we are now in the bowels of regular season. Hell's Kitchen will be playing ~|dm|~ on dod_anzio. Good luck, guys.

Hell's Kitchen has recurited some new members to our clan. Welcome to the following:
{HK}1hitysmity, {HK}Ziggamoth, {HK}Wolfpac, {HK}Haru, and {HK}ABINIDI.

Hell's Kitchen has a COD4 server located at 64.94.101.36:28930, Give it a try. Several of our clan members play COD on a regular basis so don't hesitate to join them.

UCL (United Clans League) is up and running still. Hell's Kitchen has formed a competitive team to match in the UCL. We are still in pre-season. Regular season should be starting by the first of the year. The JR league concept for UCL is still in the creation stage. I don't know whether this will get off the drawing board.

Well, Christmas is almost here. I hope everyone is ready for the holidays and let's hope santa is nice to you. On the other hand, I would also like to say we should look back in retrospect at this last year and thank the powers that be that we have survived, have our health and remember that family is the most important aspect of our life. I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Thank-you to all our regulars who join us every day on our server and keep us alive. Happy Holiday to all of you.

Well summer is gone and fall has arrived. Everyone is back in school so the play time on server is dwindled, but I see more FUN NIGHTS in our future.

We are not sure what is happening with the UCL. There has been little activity, although Nightrider was working on a Junior competition league through UCL. No further word on that issue.

Treckie has kindly purchased a source server for testing. It is located at hellskitchensrc.nuclearfallout.net:27015 Hell's Kitchen-DoD Source Give it a try. We are currently downloading files from DoD: Classic server then we will re-install the whole server. There have been lag issues and we think a re-install will solve the problem.

Well it is August and summer is winding down. Some of us can't wait to get back to school and others wish summer break was longer (that would be me). Oh well, back to the grind in 2 1/2 weeks.

We have just recruited 3 new members. BADBOY, Teddy Bear and trixie2013. Please say hi and welcome to our newest members. We have also added 3 new members to our {HK~JR} squad. Please welcome lilbadboy, KiLLeR, Suppet.lol. BTW all you {HK} members, make sure you have checked in for roll call.

The map committee has added 3 new maps to the server. Two are brand new and one has been around for awhile. They are dod_jacobstown, dod_logtown and dod_casbah. You will find them on our download page. Also, for you pub players who are interested, on page 9 of the downloads page, we have 2 files, one is maps vote list, which is the maps that come up for voting and a server maps list, which is all the maps we have on the server. You may want to grap those so you know what maps to nominate. Also, dod_cemetary4u and dod_chambers are on the download page. Again, I have to say thank-you to the map committee. They put in their personal time to make sure that we have a variety of maps on the server. Great job guys and gals.

Finally, I believe we have an anniversary coming up soon, and it is natural to reflect on how this clan came into existence. I just want to say thanks to Kane for getting this clan started. He takes on the financial responsibility pretty much on his own and never asks for compensation. This is a great group of people who enjoy each others company, and I am proud to be associated with them.
